Blacksmith & Fine Craft Auction: November 4

Join us for our Annual Blacksmith & Fine Craft Auction, set for Saturday, November 4 from 1-4 p.m. in the Keith House Community Room. We’ll enjoy a silent and live auction, featuring striking pieces from Folk School Resident Artists, instructors, students, and local artists. All auction proceeds benefit the Folk School’s programs, helping to guarantee that the School will continue to be a haven for artists’ creative inspiration.

Time: The silent auction begins at 1 p.m. and the live auction starts at 2 p.m.

Bid on fine crafts and art from our Resident Artists, instructors, students, and Folk School friends. Items include forged metal pieces, textiles, pottery, woodwork, jewelry, paintings, basketry, glass, books, and more. Come join us, along with auctioneers Tim Ryan and Bob Grove, for an afternoon of togetherness, art, and camaraderie.

The tradition of the Friday night Hammer-In lives on! Watch skilled blacksmiths work together to create amazing pieces which will be put up for auction the very next day. It is so special to be able to bid on items you can see forged and and created in person.
Visit the Clay Spencer Blacksmith Shop at 7 p.m. a great social kick-off to the weekend. Enjoy the action from a safe distance while you taste delicious fare from Tim Ryan and Pattie Bagley.
