Nationally known woodturner and Folk School Instructor, Nick Cook demonstrated the new Powermatic 4224B lathe on July 26th at the Matthews Woodcraft store location. A little about Nick…
Nick Cook, a professional woodturner, is a founding member, director, and former vice president of the American Association of Woodturners. He was named the 12th Honorary Lifetime Member of AAW in 2002. Nick demonstrated at the 1996 National Association of Woodturners symposium in New Zealand, and he writes articles for various woodworking publications. He has taught at the Folk School since 1997 and is a member of the school’s board of directors.

Cory Marie Podielski is a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and writer for the John C. Campbell Folk School.
