Join Carol Reid, the North Carolina Bluebird Society’s Clay County Coordinator, as she leads fellow birders on a bluebird monitoring walk every Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Folk School abounds with bluebird nest boxes, which also house other cavity nesting birds such as tree swallows, chickadees, tufted titmice, and wrens.
Carol and her fellow walkers have been checking the boxes each week since April. Come meander through the Folk School campus with her, view bluebirds and other resident birds, and learn more about the North Carolina Bluebird Society.
Meet at the bluebird informational sign near Field House each Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bluebird monitoring walks will continue through August.
