K-12 teachers can now receive half-off tuition for 2020 classes at the Folk School.

The K-12 Standby gives currently employed K-12 teachers 50 percent off any full-tuition course on a space-available, standby basis. Students can participate in a variety of weekend and week-long classes, such as blacksmithing, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, and cooking.

All students interested should request a “Teacher Standby” discount at registration and will be confirmed 14 days before the class start date. The discount does not include the cost of class materials, housing, or meals. For more information on class offerings and class descriptions, visit folkschool.org or call the registration office at 1-800-FOLK-SCH.
